Electrical installation and condition reports

Electrical installation and condition reports are conducted by a trained engineer (City and Guilds 2394-2395) and not only ensure that your installation is safe but also running efficiently. By analysing the test results a plan of maintenance works can be established to cover you until the next test is due, at which time an automatic reminder will be issued so you don’t have to worry about a thing.


This service is an option of one or more of the certificates mentioned here. We cover all the bases at SD facilities to make sure that you meet all the relevant statutory or regulatory requirements imposed on you as a landlord.


Fire Detection Systems and Emergency Lighting fall under The Regulatory Reform (fire safety) Order 2005 which was put in place to protect your premises and employees, tenants and/or clients in case of an emergency. Our certification service can be tailored to your specific needs and will ensure that you comply with the most recent regulations. We can also advise on the most efficient and cost effective ways to install and maintain your emergency systems.


SD facilities provide PAT testing services in and out of hours depending on the level of acceptable disruption to your business operations. Although there is currently no strict legal requirement for PAT testing, the Government has put regulations into place that relate to the maintenance of electrical appliances and the most effective way to ensure that these regulations are met is through PAT testing.

We can provide comprehensive PAT testing which will ensure your companies compliance with the relevant Statues and regulations. All Items tested are recorded in a database and given a specific bar code. This means we can provide you with a clear record of what items have passed and failed and exactly where those items are in your building. The bar code system also makes future annual testing much more efficient.


We can provide certification on any commercial and domestic gas installation and all of our engineers are registered gas safe. This means that you can rest assured that your installation is safe and complies with all the relevant statues regulations.
